Calling Western Coyotes Early Fall

Calling coyotes in the early fall months out West can make for some of the most exciting, action packed stands of the entire season. There are more antelope, deer and elk hunters out during this time which can hurt the coyotes behavior when they are getting shot at by big game hunters and pushed out of areas. As far as the coyotes that don’t get educated by a big game hunter taking a shot at them or the shot of a firearm from a truck, these early season dogs can be very easy to call in. Coyotes will get used to seeing other hunters walking or driving through the area and won’t necessarily take off right when they see you approach a set. Using a good coyote light like one of Predator Tactics hunting lights gives you a huge upper hand out West at this time.
